Smugglers Den Partners
Gary Ripper is the artist that invented the flat acrylic blade known as a Ripper Blade 10 years ago. He started making PVC light saber hilts in 2010 (Ripper Sabers). After a few dozen acrylic blade requests from the members of the saber community, he decided to focus on making them better. The saber community would order “Ripper Blades” and the name stuck. He started with only 3 blades (Darksaber, Katana and Ninja) and we now have over 50 different Ripper Blades. We just recently launched our first Collection (Black Onyx Collection) and will be launching Neo-Pixel Ripper Blades in August 2020. The first neo-pixel Rippers will be the signature Ripper Blades – the Darksaber and the Katana. We plan on bringing Ripper Sabers back along with more stock cosplay Rippers in the following year.
