A note from Dra’kar:

This is a custom vibro-axe design inspired by Ap'leks Vibro-ax of the Knights of Ren. Official description claims the original design was once the property of a feared Mandalorian executioner. This axe is inspired from that with a custom twist. I made this to be able to be held with one-hand, figuring an overall length of 19" as the basis of the design. The intentions of this was to utilize either frosted acrylic or translucent PLA as the main part of the blade [where it is colored blue in the pictures] with an LED strip installed inside 3/4" PVC pipe which is meant to be the "handle" and the pieces are modeled to slide over standard size 3/4" PVC pipe. You will have to cut the slit into the PVC pipe in order to edge lit the acrylic/PLA for the glowing blade edge effect. It is recommended to scuff up the acrylic blade in order for the LED's lightwaves to give the glow effect. The bottom part of the handle is threaded along with the bottom cap in order to be able to remove and change out a 9v battery. See below for materials needed to achieve light-edge effect. Alternatively, the blade can be printed solid and epoxied in place if you prefer a static prop look. Included in zip is both a full blade assembly and one that is split as shown in pictures.

Edge-lit materials needed:
Switch - [small one is what hole is modeled for] https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07D7NCLKF/
9v Battery tab connector - https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Connector-Leather-Housing-Connection/dp/B06X8YZJ64/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=9v+battery+connector&qid=1593121766&sr=8-4
LED strip light - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D7SSVCQ/ref=dp_prsubs_2 [will need to cut to length]
You will also possibly need small 16 gauge wire, electrical tape and/or solder set to complete.

Main material needed:
3/4" PVC pipe to use for handle. All pieces slip over pipe and need to be epoxied into place.
